Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Russia, Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top five carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Russia exhibited diverse trends in terms of downloads and active users. Below, we explore the performance of each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with 105K downloads, the app experienced a decline, reaching 48K by mid-March, before recovering slightly to 61K at the end of the quarter. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 1.7M in late December to 1.2M in late January, with a slight recovery to 1.3M towards the end of March.

Uber Russia — заказ такси also showed a downward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 73K and ending at 35K by the end of March. Active users dropped from 760K at the start of the quarter to around 556K by the end of March, with some fluctuations in between.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed a decrease in weekly downloads from 25K in late December to around 14K by the end of March. Active users started at 261K and dropped to 184K by the end of the quarter, with some ups and downs.
